Stud blocks are solvent bonded to the back of the letters to accept 10-24 studs. These blocks require the letters to be approximately 3/8″ – 1/2″ away from the mounting surface.
Flush Stud Mounting
Thicker letters (3/8″ minimum) can be drilled and tapped to install studs. Specify if studs need to be aligned with brick/block mortar joints or rails.
Pad Installation
The pad is a plastic disc on the back of the acrylic letters. Use a split template pattern or spacer tape guide and silicone adhesive to secure the letters to the wall. Adjustable or flush pads are available upon request.
Combination Mounts
A combination of studs and pads. Pass through the pad at the top of each letter and pad only at the bottom of each letter. The installation process is the same as stud installation, except that a mounting pad using adhesive is added to the mounting surface.
